Within the Contract Templates tab, there are several important features, including custom fields, reminders and tasks.
Once a field has been created, you can always make changes to the name of the field or the rules afterwards. However, you cannot change the type of field. To create different type of field, you must delete the current one and create a new field. It is possible to adjust the order of fields or sections. You can also move fields/sections to another section/tab.
By setting default reminders, the system ensures that for every contract you create with this template, the reminder(s) are applied. This means that the same reminder(s) with the same time periods are set for each contract.
Setting a reminder in a template works the same as in a contract. See also the explanation about reminders . The only difference is that the reminders are not linked to specific people but to the main contract manager or all participants in the contract.
Setting standard tasks in a contract template ensures that these tasks have already been entered for every contract created with this template. So if you have tasks that are important for each contract, you can include them in the template as a standard.
